From October 29 to November 1, the 2012 ChemITC Annual Conference will give the chemical industry’s leading IT professionals the opportunity to learn from and network with chemical industry peers who are implementing solutions and addressing issues much like their own.

Affiliate Member CSC will host the chemical industry’s premier gathering of IT professionals at its state-of-the-art Executive Briefing Center in Falls Church, Va. During the ChemITC Annual Conference, all ChemITC strategic programs and networking groups will host their fall meetings, creating ample opportunities for chemical industry CIOs and their IT experts to network with peers and gain practical insight on important topics including benchmarking the use of IT, infrastructure and business intelligence technologies, IT security and more. From discussions on industry trends, evolving business models and new technology solutions to a multitude of peer presentations and networking opportunities, the ChemITC Annual Conference will have something for everyone.

Strategic Program and Networking Group Meetings

All ChemITC strategic programs and networking groups are hosting their fall meetings during the 2012 ChemITC Annual Conference. As a general rule, active participants in any of the strategic programs as well as current and prospective ChemITC members who are interested in learning more about one of our programs or networking groups are welcome to attend sessions in that agenda track. However, attendance at some sessions is limited. Please refer to the following as you determine how you would like to spend your time at the ChemITC Annual Conference.

Participation Requirements

Business Intelligence Technology Networking Group Oct. 29 – Oct. 30 ChemITC chemical company members with an interest in applications and technologies for gathering, providing access to and analyzing data may attend these sessions.
IT Security Oct. 29 – Oct. 30 Current and prospective ChemITC chemical company, Affiliate and Associate members with an interest in IT and industrial automation and control system security are welcome to attend all IT security sessions.
Survey and Benchmarking Program Oct. 29 – Oct. 30 Current ChemITC chemical company members who participated in the 2011 Annual IT Survey are welcome to attend the Survey and Benchmarking sessions.
Infrastructure Networking Group Oct. 30 – Oct. 31 ChemITC chemical company members with an interest in infrastructure networking trends, challenges and solutions that are relevant to the chemical industry may attend these sessions.
CIO Roundtable Oct. 29 – Nov. 1 CIOs from current and prospective ChemITC chemical company members may participate in these sessions.

Chemical Best Practices Learning Center

The Chemical Best Practices Learning Center provides an opportunity for Annual Conference attendees to interact directly with experts who have hands-on experience with leading practices in the industry. This center of excellence includes innovations in corporate productivity, mobility, analytics, cloud computing, enterprise health and safety, and operational risk management. Attendees will also see live demonstrations of how the “Best Run” chemical companies take advantage of standard SAP processes as defined by CSC4Chemicals to improve corporate productivity. Stop by Monday from 4-6 p.m. or anytime Tuesday or Wednesday during conference hours to meet the experts who are helping the chemical industry address its most pressing challenges.
